Melrose Project

Here is an old project I did around Christmas, in honor of Melrose, my little pink friend. I enjoy using it for school and Other Important Moments of Life.

Special Request

Mr Music had a birthday recently.I always ask the birthday-er what type cake they'd like. Mr Music was vague, but asked that I make it "something he's never had before.


*HaHa, evil laughter*. I could accomodate that.


Here's a picture of the batter ready to bake. At this point, I was not at all sure it was a good idea, but it sure had been fun thus far.




Here's what the end product looked like. By now, I knew this had, in fact, been a good idea. Mr Music was pleased. It will be interesting to see if this cake is requested again.

Package to a Pink Friend

I can post this now because it's been received... a tote bag for Miss Pink. Miss Pink had these favorite madras shorts, apparently, with almost nothing left intact, so they became the pockets, and the belt loops and button the fastener. You can't see the charming sea turtles lining the tote.

We also sent off these dishcloths for Miss Pink's dear mother who has been having nasty health problems. Don't ask me how I think dischloths will help her but somehow they seemed more shippable than a bunch of peonies. Prayers for her would be appreciated at this time.
